Session Description​
​
Join Youth Code Jam's executive director, Lori Price, as she identifies strategies on how digital equity and inclusion can help to combat systemic inequities through education and collaboration. During this session, participants will also learn about local and digital services that are available to diverse groups of race, ethnicity, socio-economic class, language, gender, culture, ability and other neurodiverse populations. ​

Learning Outcomes

The participants will learn how to help their students:

Analyze the harmful impact of bias and injustice on the world, historically, and today (Justice)

Recognize the power and privilege influence relationships on interpersonal, intergroup, and institutional levels and consider how they have been affected by those dynamics (Justice)​
